The research team is coordinated by Professor Magdalena Grębosz-Krawczyk, an established researcher with extensive academic and project experience. She holds a full professorship in Management and Quality Studies at Lodz University of Technology (Poland), where she also serves as Head of the Marketing Department and Vice-Director of the Institute of Marketing and Sustainable Development. Prof. Grębosz-Krawczyk's expertise lies in brand management and international marketing, with a strong focus on nostalgic branding and brand communication in social media. Her scientific output includes over 160 publications in Polish, English, and French. She has coordinated multiple research projects funded by national and international institutions (e.g., NCN, NAWA, Polish Ministry of Science, French Embassy). She is an advocate of research internationalisation and has completed several scientific internships across Europe (e.g., DCU, ESIEE Paris, Université de Nantes, University of Perugia). She has long-standing experience as a visiting professor in France, Finland, and Slovakia. She actively participates in scientific communities (e.g., PTNM, PTE, ERECO-PGV) and serves as an expert for NAWA and NCN.
Dr Gary Sinclair is an Associate Professor in Marketing, specialising in Consumer Behaviour. He is the Associate Dean for Internationalisation in the Business School. He has also lectured in the University of Stirling, Technology University Dublin, and Trinity College Dublin. He is the lead of the 'Online Harms in Sport' Research Centre and has a successful track record of receiving over a million euro in national and international projects.
His research focuses on consumer culture primarily in the context of sport, music and technology. His work has been widely published in a variety of top international peer-reviewed journals including but not limited to the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Marketing Theory and the European Journal of Marketing. His work has featured in mainstream media outlets such as CNN, ABC, CBC, the Irish Times, RTÉ and the Conversation. Gary is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Marketing Management.
Assistant Prof. Estel·la Oncins, PhD (UAB, Spain), is a lecturer at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Coordinator of the MA in Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility. She is the leader of the TransMedia Catalonia research group, her work focuses on digital and media accessibility, including immersive environments. She has participated in multiple EU-funded projects on accessibility. In 2024, she received the WSIS2024 award in ICT applications in E-learning for the project YoungArcHers. She actively contributes to digital and media accessibility committees within UNE, ITU, and ISO and was involved in the XAUR (W3C). Currently, she works on VR/AR accessibility in the InclusiVRity and IMMERSE projects and explores AI and accessibility in MOSAIC and ALFIE.
In addition to the core research team, PhD and MA students in each participating country will be engaged as early-stage researchers in project activities. They will support content analysis, facilitate focus group discussions, assist in the preparation of dissemination materials, and contribute to the coordination of events. This involvement not only enhances the delivery of the project but also supports capacity building and the development of research skills among early-career scholars.
